Four days of music from December 29th to January 1st
In 2025, Naples will celebrate the birthday of Parthenope, marking 2,500 years since its founding, along with a heartfelt tribute to the 10th anniversary of Pino Daniele’s passing.
To bid farewell to the year and welcome 2025, the city administration has designed a rich and engaging four-day program for the third consecutive edition of this event. “New Year’s Eve in Naples” will run from December 29th, 2024, to January 1st, 2025, with events in Piazza del Plebiscito, Lungomare Caracciolo (including Piazza Vittoria and Rotonda Diaz), Ponticelli at the PalaVesuvio, and Piazza Municipio.
December 29th: Celebrations kick off in Ponticelli with “Naples sings against bad luck” at PalaVesuvio.
December 30th: Piazza del Plebiscito hosts national and regional urban music artists.
December 31st: A special evening dedicated to Pino Daniele, produced by Pino Oliva and directed by Gianni Simioli, featuring Loredana Bertè, James Senese, Sal Da Vinci, Massimiliano Gallo, Raiz, Gigi and Ros, Gabriele Esposito, Veronica Simioli, Mavi, Ditelo Voi, and Gigi Soriani. From 10:00 PM, Lungomare Caracciolo (Rotonda Diaz and Piazza Vittoria) comes alive with more performances.
January 1st: In Piazza Municipio (starting at 12:00 PM), a concert by the choir That’s Napoli Live Show, created and directed by Maestro Carlo Morelli. From 5:00 PM to midnight, Piazza Vittoria will host DJ sets and jam sessions to continue the festivities.
