If you want a great apartment in the centre of everything, this is the one for you. Walk out the front door and you are immersed in the culture of Naples, close to sites of significant and restaurants etc. we would definitely stay again if we returned to Naples. Note: this apartment is on the fourth floor with no elevator, the climb is worth it once you reach your destination.
Fabulous apartment in the old town. Great location. The apartment has everything you need for a comfortable time in Naples. Thanks to Erminio for meeting us and providing useful information. we had a great stay in Napoli. just a note there are a few stairs to negotiate but just think of them as extra exercise.
Appartement lumineux, spacieux et relativement calme, parfaitement situé dans le centre historique de Naples ainsi qu’à quelques mètres seulement de la meilleure pizzeria de la ville (non négligeable!). Les hôtes sont très accueillants et disponibles tout au long du séjour. Seul point à signaler : il se situe au troisième étage sans ascenceur, ce qui peut-être problématique pour des personnes à mobilité réduite. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir!
We enjoyed our stay enormously. Everything was perfect. No complain whatsoever. It is a lovely furnished apartment with lots of personality in the decor. Even when you moan and grumble climbing up the stairs to the 3rd floor (1 Napoletan floor = 1.75 Brooklyn ones 🙂 think how you are burning the calories from all those fabulous pizzas and pastas :-)))

This flat is exactly as it looks in the pictures. It is furnished in a wonderful retro style throughout and is spotlessly clean. Three big double bedrooms, two with balconies overlooking the alleyway, one overlooking the central court, and a balcony off the kitchen too. It is very well equipped and our hosts could not have been kinder. We didn’t actually get to meet Mela this time, (I’m sure she’s lovely!) but Erminio was brilliant and very helpful. He met us outside on our first day, gave us advice and suggestions, helped us sort out a taxi at the end of our stay and replied immediately when we had questions.
The flat is right in the heart of the historic quarter, within walking distance of “the best pizza restaurant in the world”, museums, culture and train connections to Pompeii & Herculaneum and Vesuvius; also to the port where you can get a ferry to lovely Capri.
One thing to be aware of is the flat is at the top of the building, so there are a lot of steps – but as long as you can manage these, they get you in training for going up Vesuvius and walking round the Pompeii site! Also, being at the top of the building makes the flat nice and quiet.
I would really recommend this flat to anybody as a fantastic opportunity to sample real Naples life; I will be telling family and friends about it and hope to see our lovely hosts again in the future.
This is a fantastic place to stay in the heart of Naples, situated in the historical centre. Everywhere is in walkable distance and for those further out journeys a taxi rank is located nearby as is a metro stop. The apartment is stunning. It is comfortable, it is fully equipped and instantly felt like home. If you want to experience true Naples this is the place. Finally the hosts Carmela and Erminio was fantastic! Nothing was too much trouble they was always available and quick to respond. Highly recommended!
Het appartement bevindt zich op de 3e etage (flinke klim!) van een gebouw midden in het historische centrum. De Via dei Tribunali is om de hoek. Winkeltjes, restaurants en bezienswaardigheden zijn op loopafstand. Het appartement is leuk ingericht en zeer comfortabel. De contacten met verhuurders Carmela en Erminio waren heel hartelijk. Een aanrader!
